Asheville Classical Guitar Society (ACGS) Activities

We will be holding monthly meetings at

the performance studio at WCQS, downtown, Asheville, NC

with ACGS members and friends on the second Sunday of each month, from 2 to 4 pm.  

At the meetings, we encourage all to perform any guitar works they are currently working on or simply wish to share with others.

Other Area Guitar Events

Sunday, March 7, 2010, 3:00pm at St. John in the Wilderness Church, Flat Rock, NC.   This program honors Carl Sandburg's love of the solo guitar and is a partner program with Wofford College of Spartanburg, SC. The artist featured for 2010 is Patrick Lui. Patrick is an international prize-winning guitarist and has performed in the United States, Canada, Japan and China.  He has taught at several universities and currently instructs at the Weaver Academy for Performance and Visual Arts.
